Of course, I would like to share photos of my history. These first two photos are of the … yes… the proverbial “one-room schoolhouse on the prairie” which I attended in First Grade and Third Grade. (We spent my Second Grade year in city school in Libby, Montana.).
The first photo is of the schoolhouse (obviously). The second photo is of the Ames farmhouse located half a mile from my Dad’s farm. At the time this photo was taken, the farm was abandoned. HOWEVER, look closely at this picture and you will see the tiny white dot of the schoolhouse in the distance on the farmhouse photo. This gives you the perspective of how this schoolhouse was literally out in the empty flat prairie. It was built by all the local families. They supplied it with all the necessary school supplies, but also a piano, stove, refrigerator, groceries, and a bed for the single teacher who lived in the school during the school year.
Both of these buildings are now gone.
Birds are always an appealing and challenging subject. I was lucky to capture these:

I have purchased equipment which takes photographs of items under a microscope, Here is a picture of a crystal of brown sugar:
This was a nice capture of an action event of me on my snowmobile.
