FAST IMAGING

I used my EXILIM F1 camera, 60 frames per second, to capture raindrops falling onto my asphalt driveway. Notice the raindrops still in flight as well as the craters.

I took the following pictures of Charlie Hanf shooting tracer ammunition from a pistol,

I took these pictures of a BB being shot into a water filled balloon:

A person hanging clothes on a line
A person hanging on a clothes line with a string

Even though my camera captures 60 frames per second, it could not really “freeze” a bullet in flight, but it did capture a “smear” of the bullet in flight. You can see the “smear” passing in front of the 2x4 in the 2nd of the 3 pictures.
