Moon Phases

Deke Gassaway, Kevin’s son, requested I get a photo of each of the 8 phases of the Moon at the EXACT INSTANT when they occur! As of this date, I have captured 4 of these. As you can imagine, the moon is smoothly, continuously moving in its orbit, so there are INSTANTS when the Moon is EXACTLY 90° from the setting sun. This is the instant when 1st Quarter occurs. I have captured, 1st Quarter, Full Moon, 3rd Quarter, and Total Solar Eclipses.
